Rural Arizona Action set the goal to reach half a million doors by election day and have connected with voters across Pinal, Cochise, Pima, Yuma, Coconino County and Mohave Counties.
COOLIDGE, AZ – As election season nears its end, Rural Arizona Action proudly reflects on the success of the Rural Votes Count campaign, which aimed to elevate the voices of rural communities and ensure they were represented at the ballot box. With a combined outreach of over 750,000 voters, the campaign has set a new benchmark for connecting with residents who are often left out of the political conversation.
Rural Arizona Action’s comprehensive approach spanned six counties and included both door-to-door and phone outreach. Key highlights from the campaign include:
500,000 doors knocked across rural Arizona.
141,050 doors engaged through our C3 efforts.
100,000 voters reached via phone banking.
12,000 voters connected in Nogales alone.
“Our team has made incredible strides in connecting with rural communities this election season, and the impact of this work cannot be overstated,” said Pablo Correa, Executive Director of Rural Arizona Action. “As we approach Election Day, we’re proud of our commitment to rural voters. But even as the election season winds down, our work continues. We remain dedicated to uplifting the voices of our communities and addressing the unique challenges they face.”
The campaign’s success spans Pinal, Cochise, Pima, Yuma, Coconino, and Mohave Counties, reaching voters who may have felt unheard or overlooked.
